Love and Second Chances is based in San Ramon and their mission is to help death-row, abused, and neglected dogs find forever homes. They do not discriminate by breed, age or special needs and take on several challenging medical cases each year.
On Friday, we had the honor of delivering March's Monthly Treat to the Animal Care Coordinator of the East Bay SPCA in Dublin. Lyla Defoley was thrilled with our donation and excited about Pupwalks' idea to revolutionize support for local dog rescues.

Jessica has many years of experience working in dog boarding facilities and shelters She's done everything from walks, group play, and veterinary treatments to petsitting and training. Jessica is also Pet CPR certified.
On Friday we delivered our monthly donation to Valley Humane Society in Pleasanton and they were so excited to receive it! We learned more about VHS during the visit and were surprised to learn that they do not receive any public funding at all.
Leanna joined us a few weeks ago and brings her sunny disposition and previous pet sitting experience to the Pleasanton team! Leanna prides herself on being both highly organized and empathetic towards all animals. We are so happy to have her walking and petsitting for us!

The mystery cow - each year this cow magically appears in another front yard in a road in Novato. She's even learned to adorn herself with festive jewelry. As we walked by today, we wondered where she'd be seen next.
Last week, we had our drawing for the “Monthly Treat” and the lucky winning charity was Dusty Paws Rescue in Castro Valley. On Saturday, Robin delivered the donation to a very grateful group of volunteers.
Rob and Robin are very involved in rescue and one of our rescue group board members in Santa Rosa received a knock on her door on sunday night and was told by fire chiefs to leave immediately. She grabbed her dogs and her cat and left.
We visit your home twice during the day to provide potty breaks, play and mental stimulation. The timing of the visits depend upon you. If you leave for work at 8am and return at 5pm we'll be at your home at about 11am and 2pm meaning pup never has more than 3 hours alone.
