Meet our team in Marin
Our team in Marin walks in Sausalito and up the 101 corridor through Mill Valley, Tiburon, Belvedere, Corte Madera, San Rafael and Novato. We also walk in Fairfax and San Anselmo.
Every one of our walkers has passed administrative interviews, personal reference checks, test-walking, and thorough criminal background checks. Each of our Pupwalkers also has previous experience with dog-handling, customer service, and a positive mind-set. This makes sure they can work well with you and provide loving care for your dogs!
Alex is walking with us as part of our Marin team and walks in Novato and the surrounding area.
She loves animals and has been volunteering with Anderson Valley Animal Rescue for the past two years, helping them clean and providing TLC.
When we saw that Alex had been working as a clinic assistant with VIP Petcare we were immediately interested. She worked with hundreds of unfamiliar dogs every weekend. learning how to draw blood, administer vaccines and more.
She an animal activist , another one of our team who is vegan and is into health, wellness, physical fitness training and more! Here she is with Kitsu, our one and only Shiba Inu!
Breanne walks dogs for us mainly in Mill Valley, which is where she lives. She used to live in Connecticut until 2017 when she and her husband drove to California!
She has two dogs who are called Baxter and Snickers. They are both rescues. Baxter is five and a Lowchen, a German show breed. Snickers is seven and a Yorkshire terrier/Bichon mix.
When Breanne is not walking dogs she runs marathons and likes to hike and travel. you can see her here with one her favorite walks - Ethel.
Christi lives in Novato and walks our friends mainly in San Rafael, San Anselmo and Novato.
We were excited when Christi applied to join us in 2017 because here was someone who loves dogs, had dog experience and over 15 years of customer service roles. She was keen to leave behind the corporate life and change to the outdoor world. Yay!
Christi lives with Poppy who is a seven year old Yorkie (you can see them in this picture) . She also spends quite alot of time each week caring for her mother and doing fun outdoor stuff.
Over the last year we've had nothing but great comments from her clients and happiness from the dogs!
Eleni joined us in 2017 and walks in San Rafael and Novato.
When we hire new team members we look for previous dog handling experience, pleasant personalities that can get on well with our clients and the desire to work with dogs.
Eleni had been a dog walker for two years. When we met her we were immediately impressed by her as a person. Since she's been with us, all her clients adore her, as do their dogs!
She lives in Novato and has her own dog, a Lab called Lucky, who is 9.
Irene is based in Novato. She is our first Australian team member. Adding to our solitary Brit, we are becoming quite cosmopolitan!
Irene has immense dog handling and training experience, working for Guide Dogs for the Blind for several years, supporting their training programs and puppy raising. She was a vet tech and has attended multiple dog training and behavior seminars. here she is with Tugg and Ethel.
Irene loves photography, arts & crafts and is an expert gardener!
Jeff walks dogs in San Rafael and the surrounding areas. Here he is with one of clients called Lucy, a lovely Bernese Mountain Dog.
When we saw his application, we were immediately drawn to his volunteering with the Milo Organization where he ha been walking all breeds of dogs and his prior dog walking experience.
In addition he has been taking dog training and obedience classes. When we met Jeff we were impressed by how much he genuinely loves dogs and how they seem to take to him. Our clients and their dogs feel the same way.
Jeff lives in the Peacock Gap region of San Rafael and adds cars and gaming to his list of interests beyond dogs.
When Mar's application arrived we were excited.
In prior roles she had undertaken dog training at a commercial kennel in Novato, been a veterinary assistant (which has been a big asset), a dog walker and sitter.
Our hopes were high! Mar walks for us in Northern Marin The client's dogs all adore her. Her experience has quickly been shown to be invaluable.
Mar is part of our North bay dog sitters and dog walkers. Mar's Chiweenie is Siri ( wonder how this works if she has an iPhone) and her kittens are Pixie and Po. Mar practices Reiki for pets - aka calming touch!
Nella walks dogs for us in Novato as well as living in Novato. Her husband is in the Coast Guard.
She has two Dachshunds, five year old Rambo & thirteen year old Olivier and a two year old Maltese called Luna. This is one of her packs.
Nella's non walking hours are taken with her three kids (the other pack), three dogs, reading and watching movies. She is also into arts and crafts. She's very busy!
Reny lives in San Francisco and walks for us all over Southern Marin (Mill Valley, Tiburon and Corte Madera)
She began her career working in film production LucasFilm, Dreamworks and Disney. But it was her work in rescuing dogs with the Humane Society of the United States that immediately grabbed our attention. Growing up in Mill Valley she has come to love the outdoors and enjoys taking her American Eskimo rescue dog Rosie on various trails throughout Marin.
When we met we learned that apart from being great with dogs she is also a professional photographer, we're expecting amazing shots from her walks!
Rob has completed over 1,500 walks dogs for us all across Marin County, he's also one of our founders and lives in Novato.
