Meet our team in Marin
Our team in Marin walks in Sausalito and up the 101 corridor through Mill Valley, Tiburon, Belvedere, Corte Madera, San Rafael and Novato. We also walk in Fairfax and San Anselmo.
Every one of our walkers has passed administrative interviews, personal reference checks, test-walking, and thorough criminal background checks. Each of our Pupwalkers also has previous experience with dog-handling, customer service, and a positive mind-set. This makes sure they can work well with you and provide loving care for your dogs!
Amy volunteered at a hospital for three years helping patients. This was immediately interesting for us when she applied.
She always wanted to be involved with animals and used to house sit and walk all the neighbors dogs.
Amy has a dog who is now seven years old and is half Yorky and half Shih Tz. His name is Chuck. Amy and Chuck love the beach she also likes to go long boarding. You can see her here with one ot our favorite walks - Flynn out past McInnis Park!
When Carla called us we were immediately interested to hear that she had been walking and sitting dogs for two years before.
Carla lives in Novato and walks for us in San Rafael and Novato.
She does volunteer work to rescue dogs and cats. When Carla is not walking dogs she’s playing with her own dog called Chikita, who is in her arms :)
Chikita is a Chihuahua she is eight years old and very tiny
Christi lives in Novato and walks our friends mainly in San Rafael, San Anselmo and Novato.
We were excited when Christi applied to join us in 2017 because here was someone who loves dogs, had dog experience and over 15 years of customer service roles. She was keen to leave behind the corporate life and change to the outdoor world. Yay!
Christi lives with Poppy who is a seven year old Yorkie (you can see them in this picture) . She also spends quite alot of time each week caring for her mother and doing fun outdoor stuff.
Over the last year we've had nothing but great comments from her clients and happiness from the dogs!
Eleni joined us in 2017 and walks in San Rafael and Novato.
When we hire new team members we look for previous dog handling experience, pleasant personalities that can get on well with our clients and the desire to work with dogs.
Eleni had been a dog walker for two years. When we met her we were immediately impressed by her as a person. Since she's been with us, all her clients adore her, as do their dogs!
She lives in Novato and has her own dog, a Lab called Lucky, who is 9.
Irene is based in Novato. She is our first Australian team member. Adding to our solitary Brit, we are becoming quite cosmopolitan!
Irene has immense dog handling and training experience, working for Guide Dogs for the Blind for several years, supporting their training programs and puppy raising. She was a vet tech and has attended multiple dog training and behavior seminars. here she is with Tugg and Ethel.
Irene loves photography, arts & crafts and is an expert gardener!
Luc Pupwalker grew up with big dogs and lives in Novato..
He has volunteered with rescue groups and his family has fostered over fifty German Shepherds and two Belgian Malinois. His family have owned 2 German Shepherds, Lurcher and a Bernese Mountain Dog, as well as raising a litter of lost cats.
Every day he walks the two German Shepherds, one is a large rescued male and the other is a working line female.
Luc walks for us in southern Marin (Mill Valley, Tiburon and Belvedere) and loves photography, travel, Japanese movies and video games.
You can see Luc here with 9 week old Nell who he instantly fell in love with.
When Mar's application arrived we were excited.
In prior roles she had undertaken dog training at a commercial kennel in Novato, been a veterinary assistant (which has been a big asset), a dog walker and sitter.
Our hopes were high! Mar walks for us in Northern Marin The client's dogs all adore her. Her experience has quickly been shown to be invaluable.
Mar is part of our North bay dog sitters and dog walkers. She has completed more than 1,000 walks! Mar's Chiweenie is Siri ( wonder how this works if she has an iPhone) and her kittens are Pixie and Po. Mar practices Reiki for pets - aka calming touch!
Nella walks dogs for us in Novato as well as living in Novato. Her husband is in the Coast Guard.
She has two Dachshunds, five year old Rambo & thirteen year old Olivier and a two year old Maltese called Luna. This is one of her packs.
Nella's non walking hours are taken with her three kids (the other pack), three dogs, reading and watching movies. She is also into arts and crafts. She's very busy!
Rachal lives in Petaluma and will be walking in Sonoma County and Novato. You can see her here with Flynn.
Over recent years she has rescued many animals bringing them into rescues for adoptions.
She has been a pet owner for her whole life and has been dog sitting and walking for several years.
Two years ago Rachal rescued two puppy Pitbull mixes that she got from a homeless traveller who had a whole litter in a box. They are called Max and Malachite and they are now with her for life.
Rob has completed over 1,500 walks for us all across Marin County, he's also one of our founders and lives in Novato.
