Meet our team
Dogs are our passion! We volunteer for dog rescues and donate most of our profits to dog related charities. Dog walking is a relationship between you, your dog and us. Our clients love the fact that we do more than simply walk their dog.
Hi, I’m Robin and I live in Pleasanton. I’ve been lucky enough to have several rescued mutts over the years and enjoy the more challenging breeds as my own companions. I’ve worked as a veterinary technician, international spay/neuter surgery assistant, dog trainer, and rescue volunteer (including fostering and evaluation).
Dogs are more than a hobby for me. Walking dogs is one of my favorite activities and I’m grateful to be doing what I love everyday. I look forward to meeting you and your pup!
Hi there, I’m Rob and I'm based in Novato. I’ve had many dogs including a Border Collie, Jack Russell, Retrievers, Scottie and 3 Bernese Mountain Dogs before my German Shepherds. I am an active volunteer in rescue, have fostered over 50 dogs and evaluate in shelters. I founded Bay Area German Shepherd Rescue and my pups are Case & Ziggy (below).
I was a senior executive at Levi’s and an entrepreneur in tech. That allowed me to do what I really love, what could be better? Like Robin, I look forward to meeting you and your pup!
Erica joined us in 2017 and brings so much experience to the team.
She has previously worked with dog rescues, Guide Dogs for the Blind, and even owned a dog walking company herself!
After selling her previous company, she returned to the East Bay and is currently pursuing professional certifications in the evening and working with dogs during the day.
Erica is delighted to be back in her element and we are equally delighted to welcome her into PupWalks.
Ashley walks dogs in the Dublin & Livermore area. She spent years as a professional dog groomer where she learned how to “read” dog body language skillfully and gained experience with a multitude of dog breeds and temperaments.
Ashley also has previous experience with walking and pet sitting so she made a very smooth transition to professional dog walking with Pupwalks!
Ashley is warm and friendly and is a natural “dog person”.
Here she is with Hogan and Hagen, two loving and entertaining Labrador youngsters we walk in Livermore.
When Mar's application arrived we were excited.
In prior roles she had undertaken dog training at a commercial kennel in Novato, been a veterinary assistant (which has been a big asset), a dog walker and sitter. Our hopes were high! Mar walks for us in Northern Marin The client's dogs all adore her. Her experience has quickly been shown to be invaluable.
Mar is part of our North bay dog sitters and dog walkers. Mar's Chiweenie is Siri and her kittens are Pixie and Po. Mar practices Reiki for pets - aka calming touch!

Jeff walks dogs in San Rafael and the surrounding areas. Here he is with one of clients called Lucy, a lovely Bernese Mountain Dog.
When we saw his application, we were immediately drawn to his volunteering with the Milo Organization where he ha been walking all breeds of dogs and his prior dog walking experience. In addition he has been taking dog training and obedience classes. When we met Jeff we were impressed by how much he genuinely loves dogs and how they seem to take to him. Our clients and their dogs seem to feel the same way.
Jeff lives in the Peacock Gap region of San Rafael and adds cars and gaming to his list of interests beyond dogs.

Please meet Shelli! She walks in Hayward and lots of positive energy and enthusiasm with her dogs. Shelli has a yellow lab named Bella, who is like her child (really, just ask her). For years, Shelli had needed a dog walker to take Bella out while she was working long hours.
She knows what it's like to be worried about your dogs needs while your away and how important it is to have someone you trust taking care of your furkids for you. Shelli is so empathetic with people and dogs, it's wonderful to have her on the team.
Heres she's walking Papi, a big loveable lab mix who has a penchant for bouncing balls 🏀😆
